Q: My AVG icon remains is grey and shows and exclamation mark. What is causing this?

A: Likely this is because the virus definition database is not up to date. This could be for many reasons, but the most common is that your computer may have been disconnected from the Internet for some time. To resolve this, open the AVG interface and click on ‘Update’ on the left side of the window. If this fails to bring AVG out of error state, contact us on 0118 982 1999 and we will be happy to assist you further.

Q: My AVG License has expired. How do I renew?

A: Please contact us via email at helpdesk@cittco.com or call us on 0118 982 1999 and we will be happy to renew your license number for you.

Q: I have a Trial Version of AVG installed. How do I purchase the full product?

A: In order to purchase a full AVG product, please contact us on 0118 982 1999

Q: I have purchased AVG and have my license number. How do I install AVG onto my computer?

A: Once you have your AVG License Number, you will need to visit the following website to download AVG. During installation, you will be prompted to enter your License Number.

Q: I have AVG Free Edition and I have a problem.

A: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer support for AVG Free Edition. We recommend that you purchase the full AVG product to ensure that your computer is given maximum protection.

Q: I need to re-install AVG but I don’t have a record of my licence number.

A: We are able to source your full license number for you, provided that you purchased the license from us. In order to help us source your full license number, please email us your part-license number which can be found by opening the AVG interface and clicking on the Licence component.
